About Us
Welcome to the Clifton Bridge Shop, operated by the Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre. We are a private charitable trust and rely on income from our shop, ticketed tours, and donations.
The Clifton Suspension Bridge was designed by renowned Victorian engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It is Bristol’s most photographed landmark and a must-see on any day out for locals and tourists alike. The bridge has always operated as a toll bridge and has been maintained and managed by the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust, an independent, not-for-profit charitable trust (no. 205658) since 1953. The Visitor Centre is situated on the Leigh Woods side of the picturesque Avon Gorge and is funded primarily by donations and shop sales.
Our shop has a wide range of gifts and souvenirs inspired by the unique Bristolian community. We stock a curated selection of souvenirs, greeting cards, gifts, and homewares reflective of the built heritage of the bridge and the landscape around us. Come in, or shop online to see what all we have!
The Visitor Centre is open daily from 10:00-5:00 with free and paid tours throughout the week and weekends. For more information, please see our website.
